Watermelon Sorbet

Equipment

  • 1 Food Processor

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups Watermelon Cut up in chunks and frozen
  • 1 tbsp Lime Juice to taste
  • Fresh Mint leaves if desired

Instructions
 

  • Cut up 1/2 a watermelon into chunks and freeze for a least 24 hours. The next day or when wanting to make recipe. Let the watermelon defrost and blend.
  • Remove the rind from a large watermelon and cut it into chunks.
  • Place the chunks in a 1-gallon freezer bag and freeze for at least 24 hours.
  • When ready to make the sorbet, let the frozen watermelon sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes to soften slightly.
  • Add the watermelon chunks and lime juice to a blender, starting with a teaspoon of lime juice. Blend until smooth.
  • Pour into a bowl and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
