I planted my first seed at 48 years old, and a few backyard raised beds soon became something much more: a thriving garden sanctuary filled with fresh food, flowers, pollinators, and lessons learned through every season.

My years as a nurse taught me to observe closely, ask thoughtful questions, and keep learning and it turns out hose skills are just as valuable in the garden as they are in healthcare.

Through Michelle’s Garden Grows, I share practical guidance, seasonal inspiration, and the real-life journey of creating a beautiful, productive backyard garden that nourishes people and supports nature. I do this through articles and garden videos.
